CONCEPT + DESIGN STRATEGY
Inspired by the album's title and its exploration of the inner psyche, we designed a haunting scene in a church hallway. Central to our concept was a demonic figure, symbolizing the battles within, appearing in different forms in the rain and inside the hallway. Paying homage to the artist's influences, we decided to format the cover layout to resemble the inserts of a cassette tape, integrating elements reminiscent of old-school media.

The final design displays a ghoulish figure pleading for help in the rain, disappearing and re-emerging inside the church hallway, encapsulating the ebb and flow of the emotions experienced by Rivers. This dramatic scene is set within a cassette tape layout, complete with retro-style stickers, providing a nostalgic nod to the past. Furthermore, we choreographed lightning and shake effects in line with the album's feature track, delivering an immersive, multi-sensory experience that extends beyond the screen.
