CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT
We focused on creating an app-less WebAR solution using 8th Wall, combined with QR codes on physical mailers for easy accessibility. Our concept featured a food cabinet, designed to seamlessly appear in a user's home, relating directly to the organization's cause. A key part of our concept was the inclusion of a class photo mockup with an inset video. This video, narrated by a real child, was designed to bring the harsh reality of food insecurity to life, emphasizing that 1 in 4 children face this issue, thereby invoking a stronger emotional response from the viewers.

DESIGN EXECUTION
Our team developed custom animated 3D models, featuring a complete kitchen cabinet with cupboards and a small whiteboard. We designed generic cans of food to animate in tandem with the voiceover, ensuring synchronization between the audio and visual elements. Every detail, from food appearing and disappearing to cabinet doors opening and closing, was meticulously coordinated. To amplify the impact, we ended the user experience with an image of an empty cabinet, serving as a lasting reminder of the persisting issue of food insecurity.

OUTCOME
The organization was pleased with the augmented reality campaign, specifically appreciating the added realism and interaction the WebAR experience offered. The campaign led to a significant increase in engagement and subsequent donations, making it a successful addition to their traditional campaign tactics. As a result, they are better positioned to reach a new generation of donors.
