CONCEPT + DESIGN STRATEGY
We set out to create an animation that would evoke a sense of nostalgia, akin to photo memories. We planned subtle animations for the elements present on the cover - a swinging chain, a falling post-it note, and an evocative light leak. Each aspect was meticulously planned to echo the narrative and emotions conveyed in the tracK.
DESIGN EXECUTION
We brought the cover art to life through skillful animations. The light leaks were designed to mirror the ephemeral nature of memories. The post-it note falling onto his forehead symbolizes a sudden moment of realization, while the chain's shimmer and swing provided an almost mocking contrast between relationship issues and the glare of success.
OUTCOME
The animated cover successfully captured the emotional depth of John K's single "A Lot". It served as a visually engaging accompaniment to the track, enhancing the listener's experience. The project was a testament to our ability to craft animated art that complements and intensifies the narrative and emotional impact of music.
